When I said I need to go back and double confirm with my accountant and get him back later, he said "you dont have to verify with your accountant", and I said I have to and I will call you back. I got a call from this #, I didn't answer but called back immediately. Guy answered "Revenue Canada" . After a short conversation, he hung up since I refused to give him personal information. He was fishing! This is a scam!
5PM EST Got the same robotic voicemail threatening arrest. Called, got hung up on. Called again, spoke to a guy with a thick accent for a while, could hear multiple people loudly talking in background, seemed very unprofessional. When I kept asking him questions he hung up on me again.

Message was left on answering machine, claiming to be CCRA with a lawsuit filed against me and if did not return the call they would be forced to arrest me. How dumb do they think I am? First thing I did after hearing the message was look up the caller ID# in Google... It brought me here! Don't call this idiot back. Call Ottawa Police fraud department.

Called March 17 at 11:30 am. Recorded voice urged me to press 1 to be connected to a representative who could lower my credit card rate to 6.9%. Never mentioned which company they represented but implied that they were my credit card company and had access to my account. Sounded like a scam to get account numbers.
